Alice’s Adventures…

I still love to read children’s books! As a child, then as a mother and elementary school teacher, I have loved children’s books my entire life. I even specialized in developing and sharing a technique for teaching children called “Literature-Based Learning” (and wrote a book about it). And for many years, I volunteered as a reviewer of children’s books for School Library Journal.

If you are looking for a way to bring a smile to your face (with or without a child on your lap or next to you), consider reading a great children’s book!

Here are some of my all-time favorite “Children’s Classics”—and why I love them:

  • Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Why: Keeps me believing that wonderland is real
