There are eleven sections, each representing a different subject or curriculum area, although each lesson contains multiple skills spanning several subject areas. There are both picture books and full-length books, and the lessons provide complete teacher information for directing them. These lessons and activities require full teacher and student participation. They have been field tested in regular classrooms and have been successfully used with a full range of ability levels.
